Whats up gang! Last week was chaos so sadly. We missed a newsletter, but don't worry! We are back in action.

Everyone has heard of a roll up right? All the big private equity shops you know are doing it. Its an amazing way to make 1+1=3

Sometimes you can pull it off with small online businesses as well. It might be that you find several small sites, 301 redirect them to a bigger authority site, and consolidate the content in one space.

Or maybe you're buying 3 ecommerce brands that each pay media buyers $5k a month. Now you're saving $10k by having that media buyer work in house for you running ads for all the brands. Boom!

Point is! Roll ups and lowering expenses through acquisition doesn't just need to be for the big multi billion dollar PE firms. We can all do it as well. Check out a recent thread I did on the topic.

This Week’s Nano Flip Opportunity

Not too many affordable easy flips on my radar this week guys. So why not take a shot a looking at a bigger site with some long term growth opportunities!

Dont forget, everything doesn't need to be a quick flip. Sometimes buying a cash flowing online business that isn't a full time job is just as big of a win as an easy flip. Anyone can buy an online business that brings them 30%+ cash on cash return. Beat that S&P 500!

This week we are looking at a site in the Automotive Space, for sale on Investors Club

Right off the bat, the site is for sale for 35x~ its monthly net revenue. Sounds pretty fair with all things considered. Lets take a quick look at the site in Ahrefs..

The site is ranking for a TON of keywords! This is awesome. If you were to buy it I would look into adding some strong backlinks throughout it. The overall DR is pretty low considering the sites size. You would want to build more of a moat around your rankings by creating a stronger backlink profile. And DEF make more content that is focused on converting affiliate offers. Everything on the site is essentially focused on informational content, that is monetized with display ads...this is the opportunity.

Change You could Make #1: Work on increasing authority with backlinks

One of the great things about this site? Traffic is CRANKING! Its surviving all the google updates left and right. This is a great sign to me that google LOVEs the site. Work on getting some guest posts and niche edits for the site!

Change You could Make #2: Build content that is focused on affiliate revenue

The clear major win here would be to keep building out content, but make it relevant to affiliate offers!

Have no idea where to find the right affiliate offers? Well here is a good list of some :)

Here is a summary of a hypothetical plan for buying and improving this site:

• Clean up site design to give it a more cohesive aesthetic
• Find 52 keywords that are below a difficulty of 10 and above 100 in search volume with ahrefs​
• Plan out 1 article a week for the next year
• Insert affiliate links into the articles

This site would be a great buy, grow, and hold. And if you want to flip it? Go for it.

The broker thinks this sites earnings potential is $4k a month. I actually think its higher than that with some quick keyword research I did. But let's assume you get it up to $4k in 12 months. This is with you writing 1 article a week (or outsourcing it) and having a small backlinking strategy in place.

Ok so just for fun lets assume you don't get it to earn $4k a month until 12 months in, and you work 3-4 hours a week on content and link building...surely you could find 3-4 hours a week.

In the first 12 months you make $37,008

In the next 12 months you make $48,000

After 24 months you have earned $85,008 AND you have a site now worth $140,000

If you sold the site you would have $225,008 from a $115k investment - NOT BAD

Of course you could just keep it, and keep growing it :)

This is of course one of many hypothetical scenarios. You need to do your own due diligence and make sure this would be the right site for you and your portfolio.
