FRIDAY’S PERSONAL INCOME / SPENDING: July MoM Personal Income/Spending was expected to come in at 0.6%/0.4%, respectively from June’s 0.6%/1.1%. Actual numbers were 0.2%/0.1%. I’ve said it once I’ve said it a thousand times; “People are economizing on their needs & cutting back on their want’s.” The pain from inflation DOES NOT come from the inflationary pump, but rather the deflationary dump. Sure prices are increasing at a slower rate. But so too are wages & spending. People are priced out of the market. These numbers should come as a surprise to no one!...
