Stock compensation and startups: Large tech companies including Zillow Group and Amazon are increasing stock compensation in a bid to reduce churn. Here’s why recent shifts in compensation structures could be a boon for startups.

Another fast-food loving billionaire: Move over, Bill Gates. Jeff Bezos wants a bite of that tasty burger. The Amazon founder tweeted — as he scarfed down some McDonald’s — that his first job was at the popular chain. It’s where he first learned to obsess over customers. 

New types of drugs, and a new startup: Researchers at the University of Washington's Institute for Protein Design have created peptide molecules that could lead to new medications for maladies ranging from cancer to COVID-19. And they've also created a spin-off to take advantage of the discovery.

NASA’s moon rocket launch rescheduled: NASA Administrator Bill Nelson says scrubbing today's scheduled liftoff of the Space Launch System moon rocket was the right thing to do. The next launch opportunity comes on Friday. On the flight, NASA plans to test an Alexa-style voice assistant that was developed by Amazon in collaboration with Cisco and Lockheed Martin.
