Everything Weird That Happened At The Don’t Worry Darling Premiere

Don't Worry Darling is two things: 1) Olivia Wilde's second directorial effort that is supposedly going to Bring Sexy Back to the silver screen and 2) possibly the most gossiped-about movie in recent memory. If you have somehow managed to avoid the multiple scandals swirling around it, congratulations, your average weekly screen time is almost certainly lower than mine, but allow me to catch you up.

There was the “feud” between Wilde and Florence Pugh, the pay disparity claim, the custody papers incident (not directly related but adjacent!), the budding relationship between Wilde and Harry Styles, the situation with Shia LaBeouf’s “firing” and now, weirdness among the stars at the premiere, which has the rumor mill in full swing once again. Somehow, I'm still very excited to see it despite the chaos and lackluster initial reviews.
