Join CreativeMornings Sep 22-23 for a World Wide Wander

Hello morning people! We wanted to take a moment to tell you about what’s been happening at CreativeMornings since it left your city. The last two years posed interesting experiments for us. We tinkered with translating the IRL magic of CreativeMornings into virtual and the local, global. Along the way, we “traveled” to faraway chapters from around the world and learned how to give hugs and high fives on Zoom. Our small in-person FieldTrips blossomed into a global learning community of thousands.

So when our friends at the creative nonprofit Street Wisdom asked to join forces for a 24-hour around-the-world relay of their magical walkshops (i.e., walking workshops), we said YES.

The World Wide Wander is a chance for our community – that means YOU! – to tap into your creativity and a sense of connection, no matter where you are.

Wander with us Sep 22-23

Join local creatives as we embark on a 24-hour journey around the world, participating in a series of walkshops (that’s walking workshops!), finding inspiration and making connections along the way.

What’s the World Wide Wander? On September 22 and 23, we’ll wake up in cities around the world, hear from local CreativeMornings volunteers, and take a morning walk together — all on Zoom. Along the way, Street Wisdom facilitators will guide us through prompts to see our walks as a fount of creative inspiration. It’s an experiment in finding new perspectives, connecting our global community, and bringing joy.

To go on the walk, you just need a charged device, some headphones, and to dress for the weather. Just log into the Zoom link in your email at the appointed time.

Bring your burning life questions and see your surroundings – whether that’s inside the four walls of your home or on the street outdoors – with fresh eyes. Make room for wonder – you’ll be surprised by the sights, both strange and familiar, sparking unexpected answers and delights to whatever questions you’re asking.

Stay connected with the CreativeMornings universe with Virtual FieldTrips

At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, we repurposed a well-loved CM tradition as virtual events, and CreativeMornings FieldTrips were born.

FieldTrips are meetups to interact, learn and collaborate in an effort to level-up your creative life. Built on top of our 20,000 monthly attendees at CreativeMornings talks, FieldTrips are designed and organized by amazing individuals and organizations from within our community. They are offered in the same spirit of generosity that has powered CreativeMornings events for the past decade.

We’ve since hosted over 800 Virtual FieldTrips for 200,000+ morning people.
