This is really insightful. 
The world today is 1,000x better than it was a hundred years ago. 
But people are not 1,000x happier. Or even 2x happier. Why?
Because most people are driven by envy (comparing self to others) - and envy is easier than ever.
Your lips are fine. But are they as fine as Kylie Jenner? 
Your house is nice. But is it as nice as the mansion on instagram?
Your business is growing. But is it growing as fast as that guy on twitter? 
The cure for envy is gratitude. This month I’m going to double down on that practice.

People think “building an audience” is about getting famous. 
Truth is, being famous is like having sex when you’re 15. It’s fun for a minute, then pretty disappointing. 
The benefit of building an audience is: 

It’s fun to put your brain out there in the world and find like minded people
Some of those people might become friends, customers, referrals etc..
