Sticky Notes - My latest project.

Artificial Intelligence has scared the living shit out of me for some time now. Naturally, I've been ignoring it, hoping it would come and go like so many of the fads we've seen over the past decade. 

Yes, I'm looking at you: hoverboards, Flappy Bird, Pokemon Go, Nyan Cat, Segways, Duck Lips, Fidget Spinners, Fruit Ninja and everything "Keep Calm".

But, unfortunately, whether we like it or not, Artificial Intelligence is here to stay, no matter how badly we want to wish it away.

So, I've decided to turn and face it.

Machina is a project by yours truly meant to explore and better understand the strange, obscure world of Artificial Intelligence.

I will be beginning with Stable Diffusion, which is a machine learning text-to-image model developed by an enterprise called StabilityAI. 

For the non-rocket scientists in the room: Stable Diffusion is an artificially intelligent multi-dimensional "artist" that creates staggeringly advanced graphic art based on the words that you feed it. 

I'm currently exploring how I can write "prompts" for Stable Diffusion that read like prose but still manage to generate images that are breathtaking.

For example, up above I fed Stable Diffusion the following prompt...

Samurai wielding a laser katana.

While the AI-generated graphic is nothing short of badass the prompt is the furthest thing from prose.
