Microsoft released Windows 11’s 2022 Update (aka 22H2) yesterday. It’s the first big release after Microsoft shifted to a once-per-year release schedule (instead of Windows 10’s original twice-per-year schedule.)
This update is packed with new features and improvements, including a snazzy new Task Manager with dark mode, drag and drop restored to the taskbar, live captions for any audio (U.S. English only for now), and tabs in File Explorer. (However, those File Explorer tabs won’t appear until October.)
