💛 Hey Reader,

Florida has been ravaged by Hurricane Ian, the fourth largest hurricane to impact the state in its history. I’m a native Orlandoan and have lived through 200+ hurricanes, but this one was something completely different. The inland devastation here is unimaginable.

If you’ve survived a natural disaster, you know the process of returning to any sense of normalcy is a daunting experience. Over the upcoming days, millions of Floridians will begin rebuilding their lives. Please consider donating to one of these causes to help central Floridians recover:

• Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida
• Habitat for Humanity of Greater Orlando and Osceola County
• Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando
• The Episcopal Church of St. John the Baptist
