It’s that time again; Amazon Prime Day deals are upon us. But before we get to that, I want to talk about Meta. Better known as Facebook. The company made it clear yesterday that it absolutely wants to rule the future of our digital lives. And not just on a social network. No, we’re talking Metaverse. The “next reality” or “next age of computing” or “crazy idea” depending on who you ask.

And if the Metaverse does become a thing, Facebook absolutely should not own it. I’ll make the case in the top story.
