October 20, 2022

Twelve years ago, Apple introduced the iPad. At the time, it was an industry-shifting innovation that fascinated the world. Yesterday, the 10th generation iPad was announced, and few people cared. In contrast, the iPhone X got a cool roman numeral in its name and a massive campaign marketing it as the rebirth of the iPhone.

The truth is that you don’t actually need the latest and greatest iPad anymore. Especially if you already own one. In our top story, Andrew Heinzman walks you through why that’s the case and if you should ever even buy a brand-new iPad in the first place.
