Daylight saving time ends next week, on November 6. That’s right, we’ve reached that time of the year where the hour hand moves back, and the day grows darker earlier.

The good news: You get an extra hour of sleep. The bad news: The end of DST can be disorienting, especially for parents of small children. We can help.

Get outside as much as you can! Soaking in natural sunlight—especially in the final hours of the day—can prevent a wave of exhaustion when the sun starts setting early.
