End of the road for Treasure Truck: The Amazon daily deals program that started in 2016 with quirky vehicles cruising city streets and migrated online during the pandemic is shutting down.

Latest fundings: 

• Portland startup monitors cloud reliability: Metrist raised $5.5 million for its tech which gives businesses real-time visibility into their cloud dependencies so that they can address outages more effectively.

• Cloud infrastructure startup raises $15M: Momento is aiming to grow its “serverless cache” software product with backing from the Flickr CEO, Intuit CTO and others.

• Mobile numbers for Web3: 3NUM raised cash to help develop a secure messaging service that incorporates blockchain and NFTs.

Amazon tries on Snap partnership: The tech giant is working with the social media app on an augmented reality experience that allows shoppers to digitally try on eyewear in Snap and make a purchase through Amazon Fashion. 

Startup’s search engine probes health data: Truveta released a platform that provides access to de-identified information from more than 70 million patients as a way to “study any condition, any drug, any device,” CEO Terry Myerson said.

Twilio to shut down Zipwhip: After buying the Seattle business messaging startup for $850 million last year, Twilio is ending the service.
