Spotify Newsletter - Spotify Newsletter #134
Hello — and welcome to the latest edition of the Spotify Newsletter! Did yours truly partake in Spotify Wellness Week? No! Crafting the Spotify Newsletter for its usual Friday journey to inboxes across the globe is far too important an endeavor to just kick-it and chill with the thousands of (lucky) employees gifted by the Lords of Spotify for a paid week off. The digital streaming company announced their “wellness week,” where they shut down all offices, giving their employees a chance “to recharge, focus on themselves and do something that brings them joy.”
Team Spotify Wrapped is probably happy about the chance to reboot considering when the doors open Monday it’s going to be a wild march to December in order to get all those Wrapped algorithms and analytics and whatever secret techie sauce they pour into the database to deliver our Year in Audio Review. They pulled the plug on tracking yearly activity on Oct. 31, so you can stop listening to that favorite song of yours 80 times a day in order to juice the numbers. 😃 The story of your year with Spotify is on the way.
