Layoffs are starting at Amazon as the tech giant cuts corporate workers.
  • Dave Limp, above, head of devices and services, appears to be one of the first senior execs to address the layoffs, writing in a memo Wednesday that “the news is tough to digest.”

  • Amazon employees posted on LinkedIn on Tuesday to share that they had been laid off as the company began cutting from various divisions. 

Tech Moves: Rad Power Bikes CEO replaced; Karat hires new VP

  • Mike Radenbaugh is stepping down as CEO of Seattle e-bike maker Rad. Phil Molyneux, former president at Sony Electronics who joined Rad earlier this year, is taking over as CEO. 

  • Karat, a Seattle startup that helps conduct technical interviews, has hired Crystal Moore as its new VP of Brilliant Black Minds, a program that aims to double the number of Black engineers in tech over the next 10 years.


NASA succeeded spectacularly in the third attempt to launch its Space Launch System rocket.

A Seattle startup is working on an alternative to package label glue that it hopes will stick.
