The Weekly Wrap - The Weekly Wrap #85
Like what you’re reading? Consider sharing it with a friend. It's been a long week of solo parenting, work, and travel. To quote my daughter, "I don't want to talk right now." I’ve read about 150 pages in The Thousandth Floor. I feel like I’ve met a hundred characters and the author is still world building. I like the world and I can sort of see where the plot is building, but I haven’t quite fallen into the story yet.
For a webinar I presented this week, I themed all the images to food. This rainbow cup is a metaphor for how one blends sources in research. [Dinner Then Dessert] Glowreel is here to elevate the power and status of women of color! You get access to original interviews with insights from trailblazing women of color founders and community leaders. Plus important news bites and recommendations - all centered around women of color. It’s a 7 minute read, straight to your inbox each week. Short on time? TLDR This summarizes text in a concise and easy to digest way. It’s not perfect, but has done a pretty good job of what I put in. I’ve used it with a few long form articles where I wanted to know what was happening but I didn’t have the time to read the full piece. I get to work remotely this week while the in-laws wrangle the kiddo. Since I kept my meeting schedule light, I’m actually looking forward to the random toddler pop-ins that happen.
