Me - The world has changed now after the pandemic and the consumption of content has grown exponentially with everyone trying to have a quality life. People have been joining in communities that they enjoy. People want to consume the content they love. With all these factors, the number of people using tools like Youtube, Telegram, and Instagram has increased over the last few years. This led to creators creating tools for these platforms and the trend is here to stay.

Me - Doesn’t matter. You are not building for a B2C audience here. In most cases, you will be building for the B2B audience. So, you need to get in touch with creators in these spaces and show how your tools can benefit them.

Me - Working on platform-based apps brings a ready-made audience using the platform. While there is a platform risk, the risk can be mitigated by just adhering to the guidelines. If you are building an app that can work with multiple social media platforms, implement the same for multiple platforms and reduce the risk so that if one platform rejects you, you can continue to build and survive while you fix the issues with the rejected platform and make it compliant.

Deep-dive & Some niches

Telegram Community Management App: Create a SaaS product that helps users manage their Telegram communities. Managing communities on Telegram has a few challenges as the community grows. The first challenge is accepting payments and allowing only paid members to have access to Telegram is a tedious process. Also, when a user cancels a paid subscription, the Telegram admin/moderator has to manually delete the subscriber from the group. When you have 100 subscribers, this is doable but as the Telegram community grows to thousands of subscribers, this gets tough. The second challenge is identifying the spammers who spam the Telegram group and gracefully sending a warning not to spam the group.
