I have a new blog post for you!

Over the course of the last weeks, I‘ve been thinking about the work that I‘m doing here and how I can make it even better.

It‘s kind of funny. Christmas is usually the time, when people (and I) like to chill. This year, my energy‘s been turned to 12 out of 10 in the penultimate days for the holidays and I‘m here to ride the wave.

I wrote a blog post that will be really helpful for you for marketing and life. It‘s about recipes vs. systems and why I‘m committing to teach through the latter.

This is a more long-winded way of saying: I want the business/marketing/life guru model to go and replace it with something that supports your independence and sovereignty as a person and entrepreneur.

I already recorded a pod episodes on recipes vs. systems last week. This is a hugely important thing for me in how I want to and will do my work going forward - and for you in how to navigate the online world with sanity, so I went even deeper on that with a blog post.

Why we need to replace the guru model with something better

Take this from somebody who spend 10k+ on personal development in 2021 with hugely varying results:

A lot of what I see in the online world is recipe after recipe after recipe, marketed with FOMO - in the worst case. A more kind reading of this is that people just don‘t know. Or maybe they have good intentions, just have never explored other ways to do it.

I don‘t know.

What I do know is that I want to do the best I can so you can make empowered choices in your marketing and stop running after the trends the online world and your peers are telling you to do.

There‘s no one size that fits all. Some people love email, others thrive on socials, others again might love networking.

That‘s fine. It‘s total BS to then go ahead and tell those people that they need communities in 2023, or else...

It‘s always cool and a good idea to explore new things that come up. Variety is the spice of life and personally, I love to learn about new stuff.

There‘s a huge difference in whether you want to do it because it sounds interesting and like something you could see yourself doing or because business guru X tells you that only with this thing can you make it through the looming recession.

With the recipe way, you stay in a state of dependency. Dependency on someone else‘s directions for you - and dependency on whichever course or method they‘re selling.

I think we can have better things than that. I‘m happy to create them and usher them in!
