December 20, 2022

Vinyl is coming back in a big way. Even my teenage daughter has her record player now. Over the weekend, I did some last-minute shopping for her and kept seeing records in big retailers like Walmart and Barnes & Noble. However, $25 seemed expensive for a Queen compilation album. I thought, “there’s gonna be a better way to find records these days.” Luckily for me, our news editor, Andrew, happens to know a lot about the topic. In our top story, he covers where you can find great deals on vinyl records, how to find them online, and even suggests some subscription options if you plan to collect vinyl long-term.

It won’t be able to do all the stuff those products can, but it does provide the basics. And starting there is never a bad option.
