I first became a Star Trek fan by watching VHS tapes of the original series movies in the early 1990s when I was just entering my teenage years. When I discovered that there was more to Star Trek than just the movies, I was amazed and began regularly watching on TV. Deep Space Nine was the first Trek show I ever watched week-to-week during its first airing. That series turned 30 years old this week. And in commemorating that momentous event, our top story is dedicated to listing all the reasons that DS9 is the best series in all of Star Trek.
