Tax season is officially underway, and unfortunately, that means that the scammers are out in force. If you fall prey to their schemes, you may end up in deeper financial woes than if you owed the federal government on April 15th. In our top story, Cory goes over some of the most common tax scams out there. He gives you some great tips, such as that the IRS will not send you text messages, and goes over the agency’s official communication methods with taxpayers. He also lets you know how to report an IRS scam to the feds if you spot one.
