My Top 3 is a weekly post where I count down three things I love in a random category. This week, we’re looking at my top three home spa indulgences.

If money and time were of no object, I would probably be at a spa once a week. My best friend and I once spent a weekend at the Omni spa in Bedford Springs. The cold dip pool in the spa bathing room is now my happy place. The scent of their signature cucumber honeysuckle products brings me immediate stress relief. I would move into their relaxation room if I could. But, alas, I am not a woman of unlimited means. I need to come by my spa indulgences on a budget.

When I take several days off of work, I almost always work one full “spa day” into my staycation. Once or twice a year, I get to spend a full day at a hotel to be “off parenting” for 24 hours. I always book the hotel down the street with the great bathrooms and deep tubs to give myself a true day of relaxation. At home, I sometimes fit in a spa treat at the end of a long day. While I can’t recreate the full resort spa experience, I like to bring a little bit of a dose home when I can.
