It's a big week for big rounds: marketplace for digital files (think print-out posters and fancy logos) and generative AI tool Creative Fabrica has raised $61m just a year after its Series A round; and over in Berlin, solar energy subscription providers Enpal has drummed up a substantial €215m in Series D funding. 

Not everyone is having such a good week, however — some Getir employees are reportedly less than thrilled with the announcement that the speedy grocery company is scrapping working from home, and expects office-based staff to commute back to their desks full-time.

💰 What Checkout.com's UK accounts tell us about its business. This week the payments unicorn filed the accounts for its UK entity to the British Companies House register, leaving us with some interesting takeaways.

💼 Getir staff told to get back to the office. The speedy delivery company declared an end to working from home options, in an email to employees seen by Sifted. All of its office-based staff have been asked to head back in full-time — which also applies to the recently acquired Gorillas and Frichti brands — and the decision's left lots of team members feeling hurt.  

🚗 $140m for autonomous vehicles everywhere. Oxford University spinout Oxbotica is developing software to make any vehicle autonomous, and is already working on driverless passenger shuttles at airports and grocery delivery robots. Given there's no shortage of vehicles to automate, it plans to use the funding to expand its reach internationally. 

🏥 Fertility-focused work perk startup raises $45m Series B. Peppy, which offers employee health benefits centred around fertility and the menopause, was once criticised for being too "niche". Now, however, it's raised the largest round for a femtech or fertility company since 2021. Having made the journey from the UK to the US at the end of last year, it plans to use its influx of cash to grow across the pond. 

🎨 Generative AI lands Creative Fabrica $61m. The Amsterdam-based startup offers a marketplace for digital files like fonts and print-on-demand posters, alongside a recently added text prompt generative AI tool. The fresh funding, led by French VC Alven, comes just a year after its Series A. 

🩺 The pitch deck OXcan used to raise $3.7m. The cancer-detection healthtech, which is based in Oxford, detects early signs of life-threatening cancers by using machine learning to analyse blood tests. It'll use its seed round follow-on cash to expand internationally and develop its products — plus, the team have shared the pitch deck that landed them the deal.

☀️ Solar panel subscription service closes Series D. Berlin's Enpal raised €215m in a round led by US investor TPG Rise Climate, with early Teslavbacker Westly Group also getting in on the game for the company's biggest equity round so far. The startup offers private homeowners a subscription to its solar system, including renting the panels — it's currently set up in Germany, but is looking to expand across Europe.
