The happiest industries in the world

A recent study shows that these are the industries where people are the happiest:

Fresh air, and not being in an office all day can reduce stress levels.

So, when searching for a business idea, besides taking into consideration the potential revenue, why not also think about finding an activity that will make you happier?

These industries above aren’t the most featured in our newsletter; however, we have interviewed plenty of founders crushing it in them, so I picked the best case study for each.

#1. Agriculture ($84K/year)

These sisters left their jobs at tech companies to start farming cocktail mixers and spices.

What was a garlic and goats hobby farm became the business that saved them from spending several hours per day commuting.

#2. Real estate ($160K/year)

This husband and wife were both mechanical engineers; when they saw a co-worker’s quitting because his side hustle had grown so much he was actually losing money by going to work, and that’s when they knew they had to do something.

Today, they make 6 figures flipping houses. They buy houses that need a bit of work and increase their value before selling or renting them.

#3. Construction ($13.2M/Year)

40 years of experience as a builder gave this founder the necessary insights to find a product that people valued, was sought after, and had great margins.

So he went from developer to focusing on a single product. 

In ten years, the business went from idea to over 13M in yearly revenue.

#4. Junk removal ($492K/Year)

Right after graduating, Sal started a job at a large corporation. Within 1 week of working at this company, he realized he could never do this for the rest of his life. 

And came up with a plan to quit that job within 1 year by starting a business.

After doing some research, he found his area was underserved when it came to junk removal.

With just an old pickup truck and $300, he started the business that allowed him to leave corporate life forever.

#5. Information ($600K/Year)

A perfect story of how doing what you love can make you happy and provide an income.

This founder was a complete book nerd. His friends would ask him about books and authors all the time. 

So he decided to turn all that questions and answers into content for a website.

Turns out, there are lots of people that have the same questions as his friends! (There always are).

He's been making $50K monthly with that website for over 10 years.

#6. Health ($984K/year)

From being out of shape and an overweight guy, this founder set a goal to make a change.

This founder's journey to health and fitness started by losing 90 lbs.

The discipline and drive it took to go from never exercising at all to achieving such significant weight loss taught him a lot about goals and how to attain them.

He decided to start a business to help others, and today, his business generates close to $1M/year.

#7. Arts and crafts ($72K/year)

It all started from a hobby that started when this founder was 6 years old and joined Girl Scouts.

Her passion for crafts remained through the years, and today she's a professional designer that runs a successful side hustle that makes between $5K and $8K per month selling printable booklets with activities.

Working on something that makes you happy will come with numerous benefits for your overall well-being.

For one, it can improve your mood and reduce stress levels, which can have a positive impact on your physical and mental health.
