Protect your developer account

Here are some reminders and tips for protecting your business from phishing scams that impersonate Google Play:

Our account support and policy update emails will only come from an email that ends in @google.com.

Always check the URL address before clicking into any site from an email. Some phishing sites look very professional, but will never come from the google.com domain.

Google will never ask for your financial information without you first being logged into your Play Console account.

Enable 2-Step verification on your account.

If you’ve shared your Google account information with someone suspicious, change your password immediately.
