They specialize in “minimal metal at maximum volume,” as Stereogum put it. Influenced by Black Sabbath, Miles Davis, and Earth, core members Stephen O’Malley and Greg Anderson make heavy drone music with Travis Bean guitars and Rat distortion pedals.¹ We’re playing two of their more ambient records, Pyroclasts and Life Metal, which are both from 2019.
