Uploading an encrypted video to YouTube and decrypting using a Chrome extension. Has anyone else thought of this? Well, I've got it working for fun.

This can be used to avoid copyright issues and people may upload full movies but this can be used to restrict access too.

I would focus on the course seller’s niche as they struggle with piracy a lot.

Whenever someone buys their course, they will receive an email to install the chrome extension and enter the custom encryption key.

And they will be able to access the course. This is brilliant.

I would make the extension free and will only charge them per encryption key generated.

If it works out, I will also charge them per minute to encrypt the video.

Think of other niches where piracy is an issue and you can get in touch with the owners.
