Power BI Weekly Newsletter Issue #200
powered by endjin
Welcome to the 200th edition of Power BI Weekly! Another milestone for the Power BI Weekly newsletter - thanks as ever to all of you for subscribing. There's a few official blogs this week: firstly, there's been the On-premises data gateway March release (reiterating the fact that gateways running versions older than April 2021 might now fail), we've been told about Hierarchies performance tips in Power BI Metrics, and there's been a blog describing how we can Explore new capabilities in Microsoft Power BI at the Microsoft Business Applications Launch Event on Tuesday, April 4, 202 (for which we can register for free). Otherwise this week, my colleague Barry has written a blog summarizing SQLbits 2023 - The Best Bits, and, by popular demand it seems, the SQLBits team has actually already shared the recording about The Future of Version Control for Tabular Models with Mathias Thierbach and Gabi Münster, talking all about the new TMDL language (pronounced "Timdull", if you were wondering) which I spoke about last week. Definitely worth a watch!
If you have any content you'd like to contribute to the newsletter, please tweet @PowerBIWeekly or ping an email to PowerBIWeekly@endjin.com.
