Switch Weekly - Yes, I'm hyped for Tears of the Kingdom

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom — Mr. Aonuma Gameplay Demonstration — One thing that's increasingly obvious now, be that from the secrecy around the name, the style of trailers so far, and details shared in this trailer, is that Nintendo will not be sharing much on the story beats that we can expect to see in this new Zelda. They are keeping it close to their chest. Anyway my take on the detail: The Fuse ability shown off in this gameplay demonstration is an excellent evolution of the various systems introduced in Breath of the Wild, opening up the number of 'what if' gameplay moments we'll see that made the first so great. Not only that, but being able to make your own weapons on the fly seems like a neat way to hush those still salty about weapon degradation. In addition to the Fuse ability, which seems well suited to combat and messing around in the world, we also saw a brief look at the Ascend ability. This allows you to teleport through ceilings - something we got a quick glimpse of - my immediate thought was this was a perfect dungeon puzzle solving device. On the whole this brief demo made me hyped for seeing what folks end up doing with this game for years to come.

REVIEW Saga of Sins — The "excellent stained-glass visuals are let down by a predictable plot and somewhat workaday gameplay".

Trent Cannon // Nintendo Life

REVIEW Kraino Origins — "Indie games are at their most endearing when they blaze an entirely new trail or offer a unique look at what we’ve seen many times before. Neither of those objectives are met in Kraino’s adventure."

Why Tetris consumed your brain
