VR storyteller showcases historically Black community in Seattle

Yolanda Barton (above) wanted to use virtual reality as a way to share the rich history of Seattle’s Central District and showcase current leaders in the community. The digital storyteller recently debuted a new VR experience that transports viewers into a re-creation of the neighborhood that has been a historic hub for Black artists, businesses and families.
