Zenni Optical, a company that sells fashionable eyewear online, created a quiz entitled “You’ve Been Framed”.
It helps you find your perfect frame just by answering 9 questions.
After 6 months this quiz generated over $1 million in revenue for them.
Why this quiz worked so well:
1. Questions are about you and what you love.
2. At the end of the quiz you get a valuable result.
3. The quiz featured an optional opt-in form = gained email subscribers = email generates the highest ROI.
4. The quiz shows a link to a category with glasses that fit you.
5. The quiz offers to share results about you. As I mentioned yesterday - 68% of people share to give people a better sense of who they are.
The shared title says "I got "Aviators" on "You've Been Framed "What about you?"
It made the quiz go viral.
