🧑‍🍼 Classic muslin swaddle blankets are actually kind of tricky to swaddle with — but they make great burp cloths, towels, and blankets, and you’ll use them for years. 

For something that makes the transition to a sleepsack easy…

😴 The Halo swaddle couldn’t be simpler to use (it’s just a zipper plus Velcro). 

If your baby can escape those or doesn’t seem comfy…

👶 You can try others like the Swaddle Up, Miracle Blanket, or Ollie — all of which have superfans. But you also don’t need to swaddle at all. (The most important thing to remember is to always put your baby to sleep on their back, whether you’re swaddling or not.)

When it’s time to graduate to a sleep sack…

💤 Try the Woolino, which is pricey but will fit your baby from 2 months through around 2 years. The Halo sleepsack is a cheaper option, and also great (you’ll just need to keep sizing up).
