Meet the cool kids of the Asia-Pacific region 😎 Hot off the press! Forbes announced its eighth annual 30 Under 30 Asia list. It’s always cool (and impressive) to see what the younger generation is doing (even though there’s lots to enjoy and achieve after 30, too). Our favourite? The stats!

This year’s Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia cohort has:

raised over $1.6B
a total social media following of 220M
an average age of 27 (the youngest person on the list is 12!)

Some of our favourite women of colour are on the list, too. Including Sim and Sonya from Girls that Invest, Sara Wahedi who’s the founder of the Ehtesab app, and Clara Carina Lukito and Claudia Sastra who are the founders of Little Joy.

In other beauty news, Ceremonia, the Latinx clean haircare brand founded by Babba Rivera, has raised $10 million in a Series A funding round. The new capital will fuel the brand's recent expansion to 500+ Sephora stores and the opening of its first flagship store in NYC's SoHo neighbourhood this June.
