Both musicians are inspired by traditional ragas as well as Western classical and American folk music. Their collaborative LP, Nakshatra, from this past January, is a spare, modern expression of traditional raga music. That’s their only LP to date, but we’re also linking to a live performance of theirs from The P.I.T. in Brooklyn from a few weeks ago.
