Proud announcements among bloomers this week:

🌱Dàtà's grassroots collective is organising a one-day festival 'Random Acts of Community Love' in Brussels, Belgium in September! The festival aims to raise awareness of community issues using participatory, arts-based, and fact-checked activities. They're look for artists, activists, researchers, educators, psychologists, associations, collectives... to co-develop activities for the festival.

🌱Sophia is hosting an in person event on sex and women's health in London June 19th covering themes from FGM to fertility. Speakers include Rebekah Lloyd, International speaker and podcaster, and Sarian Kamara, FGM Survivor and women’s Rights Activist.
​
🌱Safaa was chosen to write a research method chapter for the prestigious Sage and its upcoming series on diversifying and decolonizing research!! Her chapter will delve into the decolonization of research methodologies, exploring how we can challenge existing frameworks and embrace more intersectionality.

🌱Flavia got accepted to her dream business school, Esade, a top Business School in Spain, and got an Excellence Award recognition with a scholarship worth EUR 27,000!! Despite the great news, funding the remaining tuition fee is beyond challenging as she is not an EU citizen or permanent resident. She's looking for support and started a GoFundMe campaign to pursue her education!
