This week’s issue features articles about a Chain React 2023 retrospective and an Android Flash Tool

Hello readers!

Let's kick off this issue with a retrospective of mobile development trends from Chain React 2023, written by Cecelia Martinez from the Appflow team at Ionic. This article delves into presentations at the conference and how React Native developers can apply what they learned from them to improve their apps.

Speaking of Chain React 2023, a link to a YouTube playlist of presentations at Chain React 2023 is now available from this Tweet.

An engineer at Infinite Red needed an Android device running Android 11 to test some specific geolocation issues for a project. Unfortunately, all his android devices (5 of them) were set up with Android 12 and 13. He dusted off his old Pixel 5 and started looking at how to downgrade 12 -> 11. Then he found this site that basically walks you through EVERY step of the way! So now you too can test any Android build version on a physical device. Check it out here.

The latest React Native releases are:

Release 0.71.11
Pre-Release 0.72.0-RC.6 (Golden Release Candidate)

There's a lot more to discover in today's issue. Enjoy!
