As many of you know, our team has been hard at work to improve every aspect of The Sportsletter in 2023. After spending the last couple of months relentlessly focusing on improvement, we are confident in saying that it's the best and most comprehensive daily sports newsletter in the world. If you haven't been keeping up with us lately, here is a look at some of the recent projects we've been up to and the changes we’ve made.

With a Renewed Focus & More Team Members, We're Aiming for Bigger & Better Things (Based on Your Feedback)

We recently sent out a survey to readers and enjoyed diving into all the feedback. We found that thousands of our most dedicated subscribers love the content we produce and resonate with our mission of providing the news (facts) without the noise (fluff). And while we know the summer sports schedule can slow down a bit, The Sportsletter Team is continuing to grow. Here are some of the things we've implemented to make your morning experience even better.

New Design

We have changed the overall look of the newsletter to give it a cleaner, more minimalist look. With a new header, borders around each section, and more images/gifs, The Sportsletter is now much more appealing to the eye. We're continuing to dress up our website and prepare our platform to host more types of content.

Extensive Originals

While we have a dedicated fanbase who loves the daily recaps that we are known for, some readers voiced that they missed our ‘Underdog’ series as well as other long-form content. In addition to the daily newsletter at 7:00 am ET, we are publishing our Sunday edition on a bi-weekly basis, as well as multiple feature stories with more depth and research beyond the day-to-day news. You may have noticed 'The Underdog' has returned with five features in the last two months.

Our team is always looking for interesting topics to cover. Have any ideas? Reply to this email to share them with us. 

Stronger Social Media Game

The Sportsletter is no longer just the morning download. Our team has added a revamped social media presence that is active 24/7 (weekends, too) to provide readers with news, highlights, and updates as they happen in real time. Everything will still be included in the daily editions each morning, but we want to be there for the fans who can’t wait to get their sports fix.

Free From Bias & Betting

One of the biggest developments in sports media over the course of the last year is the total integration of sports betting. If you ask us, most sports publications are getting pretty tough to engage with because of the overwhelming ads from sports betting sites, or the constant projections of lines, odds and wagers. At The Sportsletter, we can confidently say that we are one of the only sports publications that won’t push gambling or run ads with sports betting sites. We prefer to celebrate, report, and react to the events that happen without tarnishing the news and overloading our content with bias, slant or betting  

We also just started an original series dedicated to the history of sports gambling and why our team is against it. Check out part 1 here

The team is growing, and so is our following. We hope you’ll continue to be part of our journey as we step into the second half of 2023 and beyond.
