SEO for Google News - The News & Editorial SEO Summit 2023
The News & Editorial SEO Summit 2023Our unique online NESS event is coming back for its third year on 11 & 12 October. After the hugely successful 2021 and 2022 editions of the News and Editorial SEO Summit, we're very happy to confirm we will be back in 2023! The News and Editorial SEO Summit (NESS) is the first event of its kind, dedicated to everything news publishers need to know to help them grow their organic search traffic. This third NESS event will take place on Wednesday 11th & Thursday 12th October 2023, with a series of talks and panel sessions across the two days. In this edition, the topics that will be covered are generative AI and its impact on publishing, Google’s algorithm updates, topic authority, integrating SEO into newsrooms, content syndication, technical SEO, and much more. Plus there will be two ‘Ask the SEOs’ panels - one on each day - where attendees can get answers from our expert speakers. Once again we managed to assemble an excellent roster of experts from SEO and publishing. So far we have confirmed the following speakers:
Plus founders John Shetata and yours truly will be presenting a session each and hosting the 2-day event. Keep an eye on the NewsSEO.io website for the latest updates on speakers and the schedule. As with the previous editions, NESS 2023 will be fully online and virtual, allowing anyone join from anywhere in the world. It will also fully live and interactive with our amazing platform, so each session will be live with the ability for attendees to ask questions and engage with speakers, sponsors, and other attendees. Not forgetting we also have open networking booths - great to connect and chat with fellow pros in the industry! Early bird tickets are now on sale until the end of August: These tickets have a 25% discount on the regular price, and this is the lowest price for tickets to attend the event so grab yours while you can: A ticket will give you full access to the live event across both days, PLUS you get access to all the video recordings of every session which will be released a few weeks after the event. We hope you can join us on October 11th and 12th this year at the News and Editorial SEO Summit 2023! A regular edition of my newsletter is in the works, keep an eye on your inbox for a piece on advanced crawl optimisation for news websites. In the meantime, I’m considering putting future editions of the newsletter behind a paywall, primarily to prevent LLMs from training themselves on my content. Would you be willing to pay a small fee ($5 a month) for this newsletter, if there was a guarantee of at least one monthly edition?
If you answered ‘No’ or ‘Maybe’, please leave a comment and let me know why. As always, thanks for reading and subscribing, and stay tuned for the next edition coming soon. If you liked this article from SEO for Google News, please share it with anyone you think may find it useful. |
