Reddit has launched the fourth generation of its ‘Collectible Avatars’ NFT series, titled ‘Retro Reimagined’. The new ‘Collectible Avatars’ drop features NFTs based on the ‘Cool Cats’ NFT collection and artist Micah Johnson’s ‘Aku’ NFT character. Each avatar in this collection is a limited edition piece, with prices ranging from US$2.49 to US$199.99 per NFT.

[COMING SOON] ‘ORACULUS’ is a project by MORATIEL, an artist with experience in sculptures, 3D animation, and technology-led art. Dropping on 31 July on Crypto.com NFT, it features interactive artwork in a mobile app. NFT holders will have access to the Oracle, an angel that can answer queries using AI on both Android and iOS devices.

[COMING SOON] ‘Derby Stars: Raise, Race and Launch Pack1’ is a collection by Derby Stars, a horse racing metaverse game where players can breed and grow virtual horses. This drop includes a commemorative teddy bear costume and a non-tradable horse sporting a special design. The collection goes live on Crypto.com NFT on 3 August.

[LIVE] D.G.Pals has unveiled more details about DGP New World, a gateway into the world of Panterra, which serves as an incubator for DGEggs. Each DGEgg is associated with a distinct egg type and once it completes its evolution, a DGPal can be minted as an NFT.

[COMING SOON] Eyeball Games is set to launch its Phase 2 update, which will include multiplayer head-to-head matches and additional tournament formats. Eyeball Games and its upcoming launch of Eyeball Pool was also recently featured by Cointelegraph.

News Highlights

• Cronos has launched the Summer Cruise campaign, powered by Galxe. In the campaign, users can complete various tasks and earn points by exploring Cronos and its dApps. The top 10,000 point earners will have the opportunity to earn attractive rewards, such CRO airdrops ranging from $1 to $1,000 and exclusive quest-themed NFTs.

• Minted, an Ethereum and Cronos NFT marketplace, has activated the trading rewards feature. Trading rewards are distributed based on the user’s trading volume, and are distributed daily in the form of MTD tokens. The trading rewards will last for a total of one month, up to 18 August.

• Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) and Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC) holders are now able to register their Ape-centric products and businesses with a special licence on the recently launched ‘Made by Apes’ platform. This unique on-chain licence will enable holders to use the ‘Made by Apes’ logo in connection with their products or services that feature their particular Ape.

• Luxury fashion house Gucci is rewarding Gucci Vault NFT holders with exclusive physical items for free. The 2,896 ‘Material’ NFT holders have the option to exchange their NFTs for a wallet or bag adorned with Gucci’s iconic design elements. Alternatively, they can sell their NFTs to other interested buyers.

• Mastercard’s Web3 Music Accelerator will be debuting five AI-generated music NFTs. These songs will be played for the first time during the project’s livestreamed Billboard event. Fans will have the opportunity to acquire the artists' music NFTs through the OneOf platform during the event as well.

• In Sotheby's recent Dutch Auction, generative NFT artworks by 99-year-old pioneer artist Vera Molnár fetched a total of $1.2 million in Ether. The collection titled 'Themes and Variations' was sold out within an hour, and the trading volume on the secondary market surged to 457 ETH.
