It is not a new thing that you can get an online tarot reading. There have always been free apps that offered free readings.

However, with the emergence of AI and how much people rely on the tools, there is a legitimate worry that AI will replace workers, and freelance writing is one of those jobs that may be at risk.

But if people don’t allow AI to get out of hand and learn to work with it, that will keep the danger at bay.

You would think that tarot readers would be safe from AI taking over, but is that the case?

As I said, it is not a new thing to get an online computer-generated tarot reading. But nowadays, with ChatGBT, you can get AI to do a personal reading.

It is no longer the case where you can do a random online tarot reading by flipping cards on an app. It is more personal. I’ll show you an example of asking an AI bot to give me a tarot reading regarding my freelancing career.

However, even though you see that ChatGBT can now give you personal tarot readings, there is no risk that they will put tarot readers out of business.

AI Lacks Intuition

The important thing to remember is that whatever tarot card draw that AI picks up for you. There is no intuition. It is random. You will never get an insightful reading.

You will also not get a profound reading with AI drawing a few cards for you. It will only spit out the basic meaning of the cards.

A professional tarot reader goes deeper and uses their psychic abilities and intuition to interpret the reading. AI will never be able to do that.

Even though ChatGBT can give you more of a “personal” reading, it is for entertainment. It is no different from getting an online computer-generated tarot reading other than it being “personalized” and being able to communicate with your question.

If you are a tarot reader, you don’t need to worry. ChatGBT won’t ever replace you.
