OnlySheets Update: Create a Unique Sheet For Each Buyer
Hi,
A couple weeks ago I released OnlySheets 2.0 which allows you to sell access to your Google Sheets.
New feature added just today!
You can now set your sheet in the settings page as "Create Unique" either "Yes" or "No" or leave blank.
If you select "Yes" then every buyer will be added to a brand new unique sheet that's still in your Google Drive.
This is one of the most requested features from buyers of OnlySheets and members of Better Sheets.
If you're a Lifetime member of Better Sheets you get OnlySheets for free.
If you're not yet a member then you can purchase OnlySheets for $30 on Gumroad.
Why Create A Unique Sheet For Each Sale?
One reason might be that you're selling a high ticket service, and along with that service you've provided a spreadsheet.
This could be a workbook, a workflow, a planner with service dates. Anything you yourself need to update for the customer in a sheet. Milestones, Deadlines, Work done, Work to be Done, Work Tracking.
Great for
- Ghost Writers
- Event Planners
- Business Consultants
- Marketing Consultants
- Community Event Organizers
- Freelance Social Media Managers
One other reason is you're selling a high ticket spreadsheet, with lots of custom settings that you'd like a user to have a unique live onboarding process. You can create a single checklist in your sheet that you go through during your onboarding call.
Where Is the Sheet Created?
The unique sheet is still going to be created in your own Google Drive. That is the Google Drive of the owner and operator of the original sheet and OnlySheets. Sure your customer, client, could make a copy to their own Google Drive and use it there. But adding this unique sheet to your own google drive might make it easier to manage a dozen or so new clients, with each of their individual sheets.
And you might want to make unique updates to each client's, or each customer's sheet. This way you won't have to make a unique copy yourself, OnlySheets can do that for you from the start.
Will I run out of space on my Google Drive?
As far as I can tell there is no limit to the number of individual files you can have in your Google Drive. Online it says: A shared drive can contain a maximum of 400,000 items, including files, folders, and shortcuts.
What else can I do with this new feature?
I thought of some specific roles that might be able to use this. Either to create new lines of revenue or new services for your business.
Real Estate Agents: Real estate professionals can sell access to property listing and tracking spreadsheets. With unique sheets for each client, you can provide a more personalized experience for property buyers or sellers. Update each client's sheet with personalized information about their situation.
Fitness and Wellness Coaches: Coaches and trainers can sell workout or meal planning sheets with unique customization options for clients. This allows clients to track their fitness progress and nutrition based on their individual goals. Keep clients motivated with praise and tweaks to their regiments.
Legal Professionals: Lawyers and legal experts can sell access to legal document templates. Clients can receive unique sheets for drafting contracts, wills, or other legal documents tailored to their specific needs. Especially good for creating checklists and managing loads of individual Google Docs with each client.
Personal Finance Coaches: Financial advisors can sell budgeting and financial planning templates. Each client can receive a customized sheet to manage their income, expenses, and savings goals. Keep tweaking their plans as their life situation changes or there are major movements in the market to get them greater realized profits.
Travel Planners / Tour Guides: Travel enthusiasts, Travel guides, or travel agencies can offer travel itinerary templates. Each traveler can receive a unique sheet to plan their trips, including flight details, accommodations, and activities. Update their personalized sheets after a short consultation. Could be a great way to create async businesses for travelers as their travel dates approach. Get super specific about dates/weather/activities available.
