Designing microservices: responsibilities, APIs and collaborations - Through a combination of lectures, discussions, and kata exercises, I will walk you through distilling your application’s requirements into a collection of loosely coupled, appropriately-sized services.
Hands on Microservice architecture and design workshop - Through a series of architectural katas you will learn about the key aspects of the microservice architecture. Appropriate for technology leaders, architects and developers using any language.

I’ve written an article about the importance of service granularity in a microservice architecture. This is clearly a controversial topic since a significant fraction of the software development community appears to believe that a single service, i.e. a monolith, is the way to go where as many others appear to be happy with a fine-grained MICROservice architecture that has multiple services per developer.
