Today we’re listening to Tom VR, an English electronic music producer based in London. Tom went to university in Leeds, where the local club scene exposed him to dance music.¹ He uses a Korg Arp Odyssey an views it as “integral to my sound.”² We’re playing his two LPs, both put out by the Los Angeles label All My Thoughts. Please Keep Shimmering from 2021 plays across a range of dance music styles. Films from 2018 does the same, with an overall lower-key energy .
