Letters for Creatives - Work-rest-life integration | #99
Hello, this is Celeste and welcome to the Letters for Creatives newsletter. I have been writing poems since 2017 and fiction since 2022. This is the place where I share my thoughts and find resources for writers and creatives. Subscribe and join other creatives to receive tips and resources on writing, creativity, Interview With an Artist and Interview With a Creator series. This issue is sponsored by Emerald Lake Books They are hosting their 2023 Publish with Purpose virtual summit. It would be held from 16Oct to 20Oct. The summit includes 20+ presentations plus 8 live sessions that cover topics like: • How to Make Your First Five Fiction Pages Sparkle • Building a Profitable Author's Platform • Crafting a Secure Future with Strategic Hybrid Publishing • Audiobooks: The Author's Secret Weapon • Finding Readers and Pre-Launch Marketing Steps There are even great opportunities to meet the speakers and other attendees to get your questions answered and possibly find your next collaboration partner! For the price of $67, you have access to the replays for three full months. So, even if you can't commit to attending live, you'll have all these great resources to learn from in the coming months. If you are interested, you can sign up for the event before 16Oct. Want to sponsor Letters for Creatives? Hit reply! Work-rest-life integrationI am updating my own concept of work-life integration. It is becoming work-rest-life integration. The evolution of the concept would happen no matter what. As life gets busier, I need a framework to keep myself sane. I have tried writing fiction on Saturdays. But routine makes it boring. So how can someone with a full-time job and a newsletter as side project finish her draft 0? I am winging it but let’s try it!
