Mule Girl Fall

Season to season I find myself reaching for mules and clogs over any other shoe. Maybe it’s a symptom of entering my 30s but the ease of throwing on a pair as I head out the door is absolutely unmatched. Inspired by the gorgeous cobalt blue mules I just scored secondhand (literally came in the mail this morning — thank you Sue Ann!), a few of my favorites:

• As soon as I came across these classic clogs in baby blue, I had to have them — yes, I’m very into blue lately.
• The kelly green sole on this black leather pair adds fun to what could be considered a boring neutral.
• After tearing through SuperBirkis and several pairs of Crocs, I bought these candy-colored platforms specifically to walk my dog. So far they’ve been sturdy enough for our treks through the city as well as the ever-occurring weekend rain storms.
• These suede square-toe heels are perfect for special occasions now that it’s time to put my trusty thong heels away.
• Okay, these red ballet slippers are well beyond my budget but a girl can dream!
