With ready-made assessment tests, you are not finding the candidates who fit 100% of the role. You are finding candidates who don’t fit the role at all and remove them from the hiring pipeline. 🤿🤿 Deep-dive &&💡💡 Some nichesResume Parsing and Redaction tool:A SaaS product around resume parsing and redaction tool acts as recruitment assistant, help crafting tailored messages that demonstrate candidates' value, thus improving response rates. SaaS products like these help streamline the process, saving time by automating outreach. This approach enhances the candidate experience, providing them with relevant and engaging communication throughout the recruitment process. Some offerings in this field function as standalone resume parsers, while others are designed for integration into larger existing products, adding resume parsing and redaction functionality. Then there are also products that make the Video interviewing process async with back and forth communications with the interviewer so that candidates can take interviews as and when they have time. Hirevire and Canvass Video are some products that are in this space that support async interview flow. Hirevire crossed $950 per month in revenue. Hiring via Testing live coding skillsThere are many companies still using Zoom and shared screens to test live coding skills. Create a Micro SaaS tool that just creates a sharable browser with controls both for recruiter and candidate where they both can see each other via a video call. The tool should automatically create a link that can be accessed by both recruiter and candidate. On click of this link, it should allow video calling along with automatic ‘live coding’ options. The same is the case with SaaS tools in hiring ecosystem. Most of the existing Enterprise products are feature bloated and come with a lot of complex configurations and setups. By being a long time in the market, a bigger company’s products tend to be complex, bloated with features and that is where simpler products can make things better to start getting traction and get paying customers. Hiring has been in the industry for decades and in the last decade several SaaS solutions automated hiring with readily available questions, screen sharing, ready coding environments, automated assessments, etc. For example, SaaS solutions like CoderByte have 1000+ Enterprise customers and concentrate more on Enterprises. Other SaaS providers like HireVue don’t even allow manual signup without requesting a demo. HireVue currently making $60M in revenue per year. Also checkout LessHire and HireQuotient. LessHire reached monthly revenue of $3.2K. HireQuotient’s estimated annual revenue is $7.7M.
