8,000 Palestinians killed. The U.S. is helping pay for it.

As we write this email, Gaza’s Health Ministry is reporting that Israel’s attack has killed more than 8,000 Palestinians, including thousands of children.

By the time this email reaches you, the number of civilians killed will almost surely be even higher.

Israel has blockaded food, water, and medicine. Hospitals don’t have electricity. A near-total internet and telephone blackout left Gaza cut off from the rest of the world for days.

According to many experts in international law, these are war crimes. Yet in far too much of the U.S. media, there is one dominant viewpoint represented: complete, unambiguous support for Israel.
