Watch the Free Recordings from BLAG Meet: Inside Issue 03

Four weeks ago, I hosted BLAG Meet: Inside Issue 03, a free online event with an opportunity to meet contributors to the magazine.

Recordings of the majority of the talks, interviews, studio visits, and demonstrations are now available to watch at bl.ag/bm03.

The Recordings

In order of appearance on the day, these are:

1. Justin Burns (@jburnsdesign) sharing more of his adventures in the typographic vernacular of the English seaside. (See previous bl.ag online article here.)
2. Danielle McGurran from City Folk Studio (@cityfolkstudio) taking us inside her closet-based studio (aka The Cludio), which is the tiny space from which her tiny creations are brought to life.
3. Jill Strong (@jill.strong.signs) sharing her journey into the trade, and finding her niche within it, offering a host of practical tips along the way.
4. Mariana Branca and Emanuel Barreira at Halfstudio (@halfstudiosigns) giving a studio tour and discussing how their work has evolved over time, including the recent move into three dimensions.
5. Gustavo Ferrari (@ferrarifileteados) demonstrating the painting of acanthus leaves in the Fileteado Porteño style. (See more video content from Gustavo here.)
6. Tozer Signs (@tozersigns) showcasing her Secret Santa project, with tips on how to run your own.
7. Bob Dewhurst (@nevadahandpainted) talking about making a living as a freelance sign painter, and some of the basics he's learned over the last 47 years.
8. Stephen Coles (@stewf) and Kel Throughton (@keltroughton) opening up Letterform Archive's (@letterformarchive) incredible Ross F. George collection.
9. Chris Raley at Route 9 Signs (@route9signs) sharing his miniature signs and process.
