Redfin is on the “right side of history” in the wake of the verdict in a closely watched real estate agent commissions lawsuit, CEO Glenn Kelman told investors during the company’s earnings call Thursday. He said the verdict may dramatically reduce the number of buyer’s agents and potentially “lead to a revolution in our industry, not just reform.” Read more.

Drones for public safety: Seattle-based startup Brinc this week delivered the first production units of its Lemur 2 drones to police and other emergency responders in the United States. Brinc’s drones are able to see in the dark, communicate through a microphone, and break through glass. Read more.
