A pragmatic decision by Jeff Bezos brings Seattle full circle. The Amazon founder’s announcement that he's moving his primary residence to Miami inspired GeekWire co-founder Todd Bishop to dig out the May 20, 1996, issue of Newsweek magazine (above) from his storage bins, and reflect on everything that has happened in the decades since. 

Redfin is on the “right side of history” in the wake of the verdict in a closely watched real estate agent commissions lawsuit, CEO Glenn Kelman told investors during the company’s earnings call Thursday.
