Nash runs the label Melody as Truth and is a member of the ambient trio Gaussian Curve alongside Suzanne Kraft and Gigi Masin. His primary instrument is guitar, preferring to “douse” his strummings “in atmospheric effects,” as his release notes say. His 2017 collaboration with producer Kraft, Passive Aggressive, is a collection of spare, tender instrumentals. They use silence as much as piano, bass, and guitar to create sonic space. Nash also released a new solo record this past summer, Point of Entry, which incorporates more of his own ethereal vocals.
